Fundraising The creation of the Academy of Greatness will be a two-year adventure of massive proportions, requiring a large financial commitment from numerous sources. Those who understand the principles of abundance know that there is more than enough and to spare in the world. All one has to do is look at the 2008 presidential campaign, where the candidates from both parties were able to raise between 20 and 30 million dollars in a single week on multiple occasions, to realize that there is money out there in massive amounts, waiting to be put to use in the right cause. It is our intention to begin the school year of 2010 with an endowment of 30 million dollars or more. This will allow for the acquisition and retrofitting (or initial construction) of a campus, and allow for a springboard for future expansion as well as healthy fiscal operations. Our initial challenge is to raise $20,000 which will be used to defray the initial costs for the following items:
